Swimming pool | sports facilities
The heritage-protected swimming pool was redeveloped and reopened in summer 2009, together with the neighbouring gym and sports facilities.

Presently, the swimming pool, also heritage-protected, is being redeveloped and will be re-opened, together with the neighbouring gym and the sports facilities, in summer of 2009. It is run by the regionally widespread Schwimm- und Sportverein Vogelsang e.V., SVV (Swimming and Sports Association). The pool, apt for competitions, holds 600 cubic metres of water and has a depth of 3.80 metres at its deep end. This might be attractive for divers as well.

The facilities are at the disposal of schools of the neighbouring communities, associations, groups and the visitors of Vogelsang. And overnighters with no swimming pool at hand as well as the International Community Centre of the Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk DJH can use the sporting facilities.
